We know there're some lingering questions...
Do you allow professional photography?
Professional Photography (i.e. if paid for your service) is allowed at a $20 per session fee.
We've flip flopped through a few different approaches to professional photography on the farm. What it comes down to is that we ask you to respect the hard work that goes into making this a beautiful background for your photos. There are endless hours that go into this, and just as you value your own talents, we ask that you also value ours. Encourage your clients to make purchases, tag us in anything you post, and/or credit us on your websites. Understand that we're first and foremost a farm by avoiding any spaces we're currently working in, working around pets, and not picking anything without permission.
We love sharing this place and want to continue to do so. <3

Can our dog come?Yes! Leashed dogs are allowed anywhere on the farm except the barn and in the u-pick flower field. If your fury friend struggles with aggression towards humans or other dogs, please leave them in the comfort of your home.
Please note that we have two friendly dogs of our own, Doug and Twig, that are often off-leash on that grounds. |
Do you have pick-your-own strawberries?
No, we do not. We offered u-pick strawberries for over two decades until our soil could no longer take it. You can check out the Berry Basket in Monticello or check out the Minnesota Grown directory for a full list of u-pick strawberry farms in the state.
How long in the season are you open?
Until our annual Thanksgiving Market which is always the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Do you accept credit or debit cards?
Yes! We have a cashier in the farmstore Saturdays and Sundays September through October, During the week we have a digital self-checkout system that can accept credit/debit cards, cash, and checks.
What is self-serve?
Self-serve means the farmstore isn't staffed with someone behind the counter to ring you up. New this year, we have a digital self-checkout system that can process all forms of payment. If you have a question, someone is usually working in the back of the barn.
What are your hours?
